My first step in designing a website is to discuss with you exactly what you want your website to do and who you want it to attract.
A website is no good if no-one ever sees it, and for a website to be discovered, search engine optimisation has to be an integral part of the design of a website right from the start. I carry out keyword analysis, and discuss with you any specific keyword areas that you would like to target with every website that I design to ensure that your website actually reaches your target audience.
Most people usually have a good idea of the sorts of websites that they enjoy visiting as well as the ones that they don’t, so before you start thinking about the design of your website, check out the competition and get an idea of what works and what doesn’t. I am always happy to discuss whatever design ideas you have for your website, and can highlight the advantages and drawbacks of different designs for you.
You might already have a vision of how you would like your website to look, or you might want me to come up with the entire design, either way you can have access to the website as it is being created so that you can give me your input during the design stage.
